Defensible Space Fuel Reduction Projects
Diablo FireSafe Council often has funds to assist Alameda and Contra Costa county neighborhood groups comply with fire regulations and Defensible Space Guidelines.
DFSC is soliciting information from licensed landscape and fuel reduction contractors to participate in this program. If you are interested in participating please complete the Contractor’s Information Form and return to DFSCMiller@comcast.net. Contact the Diablo Fire Safe Council for further details.
Diablo Fire Safe Council will maintain a list of Contractors to aid the property owners with selection and scoping of project work.
Contractors will be hired directly by property owners with DFSC funds augmenting private property owner contributions. Contractors will not contract directly with the Diablo Fire Safe Council. |
Fire Safety Education and Information Program
Diablo FireSafe Council has received a federal grant to educate and inform communities in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties about wildland-urban and related fire safety issues and concerns.
