Join the Clayton Community Library and the Diablo Firesafe Council for an informative Zoom program on wildfire preparedness for Contra Costa County homeowners. Learn essential strategies for home hardening and creating defensible space to protect your property from wildfires. Our experts will provide valuable tips on roof and vent maintenance, vegetation management, and other crucial steps to enhance your home's resilience.

DFSC home-hardening specialist Sheryl Drinkwater is a licensed architect who has spent the past two years working with cities and communities to assist FIREWISE neighborhoods in prioritizing actions that they can take to help make their homes more ignition resistant and increase home survivability. Also presenting is Holly Million, Executive Director of DFSC, and Joelle Fraser, DFSC Cost-Share Program Coordinator.
