Regional Priority Plan and Community Wildfire Protection Plan

Our Regional Priority Plan Stakeholder Meeting #5 had a great turnout on May 21st, 2026. Here is the recording of our event and the presentation slides in case you missed the meeting. 

Here are the highlights from our work in 2024-2025 including our very popular Cost-Share Matching Program, Home Hardening Education Program, the Regional Priority Plan (RPP) for Alameda and Contra Costa Counties as well as an update to the Alameda County Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP), and more.

On October 16, 2025 DFSC held the fourth in our series of stakeholder meetings. At the meeting, we reviewed the 28 projects approved in our first round for inclusion in the RPP update.

This document provides a comprehensive, scientifically based analysis of wildfire related to the hazards and risk in the wildland-urban interface (WUI) areas of Alameda County, CA. The analysis is delivered in the form of a Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP)
